Ok my friends, One of you guys in So. Ca. have got to know a
guy or know of a good mechanic who rebuilds these old engines.
Or how about San Fransico area. I am even open to take it to
AZ. Pheonix area. I guess I sound lost alittle. I don't have
the tools or the know how to do this part. Send me any info you have. Thanks Richard

I would assume that the 194 is a 1929-1932. But it could also be a 60s small six used in Chevy IIs etc. They are very different engines and require different experience/expertise.

According to your profile, you have a 1929 Chevrolet. For a engine rebuild call Alec at (650) 631-1015. He is in San Carlos, California and he also does babbit repouring for rods and mains.

It is not recommended that you take your 1929 engine to a local machine shop unless you want to have lots of grief down the road.
