Cheers guys, but I want to try and buy it here in Australia, if I can't I'll look to importing it from the US.

Welcome to the chat Jamie.
I'm in the UK & import my parts from the USA.
Beware on external engine & steering related parts for "Right hand drive" cars, some are different to "Wrong hand drive" & don't fit.

O=O=o= auto soon

I see in the photo you have a set of Delco Lovejoy shocks, do all OZ cars have them? We did not have them until 1930 and with a solid link rather than straps to the axles in North America. The reason I ask is I own a set of these shocks. I got them from a street rodder and he said he got them from a '29 Chevy he was working on altering. Never installed these shocks, just sitting in a box. Sorry to highjack your post. Gary

As far as I know all '29 Chevs came with them. I have a set of '30 shocks as well.
This Chev is a real bitsa, the body panels I bought off a restorer at the Gold Coast swap meet & is a mix of '29/'30 panels.
The 29 running gear came from a rodder who was rodding a tourer.
Chassis came from placing an ad in a magazine, I ended up buying it plus a complete but disassembled '30 uted tourer. So it is a real jigsaw puzzle togo laugh
