In process of assembling my 58 Impala vent windows. Is there some kind of weatherstrip that goes between the vent housing and the door metal?? I have the "J" rubber seal to install somewhere on the door but need a clue where it goes. Thanks, Ray

Hi Ray,

The J seal is installed on the forward part of the door, towards the beltline area. There are two plastic clips that retained it.

The purpose was to direct water away from the w/strip area.
