We have a 37 rumble seat coupe that is in rough shape. Since it needs a lot of body work anyway, we were thinking of converting it into a cabroilet. We have a straight axle parts car, so that part would be easy. I understand they reproduce the top bows. Would like to find someone who could email photos of a cabroilet to get an idea of the amount of work it would take to do the conversion before we decide anything. Preferrably would like photos of an unrestored car as was wondering about additional body reinforcements needed, framing for the top and top bows etc. etc. There is a nice 39 convertible that has been at numerous meets in the Middlewest over the last 20 years so I know it can be done.

The member that made the 1939 also made a 1938. Unfortunatly he is no longer with us.
