Does anyone have or have literature on the 1929 chevy hot air heater? This heater either replaces or wraps around the exhaust pipe not the manifold. I saw one on a '29 at a show in Lake Placid NY several years ago but did not have the car then and did not take any pictures. I have parts of one and need some help getting it together. thanks..Doug :( :(

Hi Doug Zeno,

Take a look at the February 1929 Service News, page 14, for a description of this heater. Agrin

Bob.
If you could e-mail some pictures it would be great. I have parts for the heater that is 2 piece and wraps around the exhaust pipe. I need measurements for the piece that fits under the floor boad that receives the hot air. A picture would help. I do not have this piece and if anyone had this piece for sale I would buy it or I need to make it and also the top grille piece. I remember many years ago seeing this heater for sale in the box with instructions. I would like to obtain a copy of them if possible.
Ray-yes the one shown on page 14 is the one I need.
Guys..thanks for the help! dance wink
