1949 Chevy 4400 ton and a half grain bed.

I am in the process of installing the interior of my 49 Chevy truck. While working on the window run channel on the passenger side, I noticed that the metal strip that goes around the window on the outside is loose at the top where the two ends of it join.

What does one do to fix that?
