OP 1929_Chevy Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 82 Minnesota	Can a novice restore their own fuel pump? Ive heard this is a specialized skill which should be done by a professional.

You might also be able to get a kit from your local parts store. After AC quit building the fuel pumps Stewart Warner did. That design or similar was used for 10s of years on stationary engines, tractors and ?? How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
