Check with the chevradioman. Does the radio work?

Welcome to Chatter II,
Check the "Radio and Accessories" topic page. You may get a faster response. There is currently a discussion about 35 Accessories going on now.
Chevradioman is probably you best help and he should check in soon.
My father's 36 Master Deluxe had a factory installed radio and it mounted on the firewall just above the clutch pedal. The speaker was in the roof above the windshield garnish molding and the tuner was of course in the dash slot. The antenna was a crazy system of 1/2" or 3/4" flat wire that hangs under the running board. (I don't remember if it was both running boards and maybe just for the 36) The tuner/amp box was connected by cables.
If I remember correctly he would carry a box of extra tubes in his trunk. Those replacements are getting pretty hard to find.
Good luck with it!

Is your 1935 a Master or Standard? That will make a large difference in installation.

Hang in there MembersonlyCC,
I did not provide the link. that link is so you can see a Region's web site and I didn't see any help with radios when I clicked on it.
Chevradioman is a wiz at you question, so just stay "tuned" and I'm sure he will check in before the weekend is out.
