I plan on pulling my old tractors to shows with my 55 1st series 235 4 spd. . The GVWR is 4800 lbs. However what is the GCWR? That is the Gross Combined Weight rating, and that takes into account the vehicle, total load in or on the vehicle AND the weight of the trailer and its load. Any ideas? Thanks

steve

Steve,
I don't know the answer to your question. Do you need this information for licensing purposes or are you just concerned for your own reasons?
Any goose neck or semitrailer should haul your load without any chance of overloading the truck's GVWR. Braking might be an issue. Do you have an auxiliary brake booster?

GVWR = Gross Vehicle Weight Rating which is 4,800 lbs including everything on the two axles of the pickup. GCWR is Gross COMBINED Weight Rating which is the fully loaded truck and fully loaded trailer together to a maximum of what is indicated after the GCWR.
