Motorola made universal radios for several applications. They were cheaper than the correct stock radios and were installed by many dealers and independent shops. The cost to restore the Motorola radio is about the same as for a stock radio. Most of us do not stock any specific parts such as knobs, push-buttons, and dial glass. It is highly desirable to spend your money on the stock radios. We stock many parts for those radios to include some of the hard stuff. If you intend to have your car judged a knowing judge will deduct for an incorrect radio.
