VCCA Home Forums TECHNICAL - 1945 AND EARLIER 1937-1945 Bushing-bearing mast jacket - 1940 steering column

Does anybody know of a source for a (bushing-bearing mast jacket with horn wire) In my parts book they have two numbers, 1854761 with horn wire for 1931-40 all except passenger cars, the other number is 266218 for 1940-46 trucks. I need one for my 1940 P/U A good used one would be fine if someone has one for sale. Thanks, Harold Pickett

The mast jacket bushing for the 29-40 trucks has been reproduced. It is available from the Filling Station, Carter's Antique Truck Parts, Gary Wallace and directly from the supplier (ME!) It replaces part number 1837956 ('29-'30 all), P/N 1839742 ('31-'33 exc. CC) and P/N 1854761 ('31-'40 exc. CC, DC, EC, FC, JA, KA, KB, KH, COE).
