I am in need of a pinion gear for a 1919 FB50. The pinion gear I need is an 8 tooth, 1.5 inches long, and 1 1/8 x 7/8 tappered hole with woodruf key. Any advice?

1919 FB50 - Broken Pinion gear! To all FB owners! I want to get with any one who might need a ring gear & pinion, I would like to have several ring gear & pinion sets made as they are less expensive when made in quantity. If you or you know of an FB owner please ask them to contact me at: thutch7244@sbcglobal.net
Thanks

FYI,
A VCCA member has installed the ring and pinion from a 1934-35 passenger in his Roadster. Participates on the VCCA 4 cylinder tours with the car.

yes, I have been in touch with Dennis. I am trying to avoid the necessary alterations to the rear end. I may need to resort a rebuild.

I have a NOS 35 R & P if interested. I'll be taking to the Swap Meet in Springfield Ohio this weekend. I'll be checking the Chat site in the EARLY AM Sat & Sun.

Thanks,
I think I don;t want to do the extra machine work to convert to a later model R&P. The machine work will be as expensive as the new hand made R&P.

May be you could search advice from Lawrence Jackson. ljackson805@hotmail.com

He arranged for a production of 25 sets of R&P high speed to 1931 last year. Excellent quality and super service too.
