I have a 1928 chassis sitting in my back yard. I would be glad to sell it. Located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

I have no knowledge of frames, but do have 1924 Ford frame that might be suitable for modifying if you are unable to find another 1928 AB. If interested, indicated a way of getting in contact with you. I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I would say 29 would be a lot different from 28 even though the 28 frames were originally supposed to get the 6 cyl, they still used the four cylinder attachments. it is always better to go with the year/ engine size you are working with unless you want a bunch of fabrication to do.

1928 frames are different from 1929 frames. The major area of difference is the engine/transmission mounting and engine splash pans. That could be changed but will not be "easy". Also the exhaust on '28 is passenger side and drivers side '29. Have not checked fender, running board and gas tank mounts so can't comment on any possible differences.

If the last pictures I saw of Saskatchewan Canada are typical the frame is likely under 5+ feet of snow. Those nice folks have been buried in white fluffy (guess it is not too fluffy now) stuff. When you can drive your snow machine directly onto the roof the snow is too high for me. In fact if I can touch it it is too close no matter how deep.

Hey Chipper I did not say when they could get to the frame I'm still waiting for them to look on the fenders for some parts for me that they may have left there.

Vukie; I know of a 1928 chassis in Riverside County,CA. I have purchased a part from it for my 1928 Capital fire engine. This chassis has 20 inch wood spoke wheels and rims. I don't know if this would be considered an AB chassis you are looking for. James.

Hey Andy, If you show up with a front end loader they might just get to them in the next six months. Good luck on the parts. There happens to be the remains of a '28 Coach in a field near me. Still don't know if anyone claims to own it. Been there many many years.

That 28 AB frame and complete drivetrain with wheels is back on Ebay in South Missisippi. I would by it myself if I had somewhere to put it. It would make a neat speedster if nothing else.

Vukie RE: How to get my frame in Oklahoma ???? Come to Oklahoma and pick it up. The infamous Chickasha, Oklahoma swap meet is March 19-20, you can justify the trip to pick up the frame and go to that swap meet. People come from all over the nation to that swap meet. or If you know of someone in your area coming to Chickasha in March, have them come and pick it up.
If it is still here in March I might take it to Chickasha to sell.

Hi I beleive that the 1928 national series car and truck shared the same chassis, I hope this will offer you broader search for a frame.
