There are FOUR terminals on my Lock.Two for coil&distributor but the Other two?????????

The correct 1929 electrolock only has one terminal. The 1930-32 electrolocks have three terminals. One terminal is marked "Coil Gauge", one terminal is marked "Coil" and the third terminal is marked "Batt". The fourth terminal is actually a blind hole and it is the ground for the electrolock.

If your electrolock has the three terminals listed above then it is not correct for 1929. However, with some rewiring the 1930-32 electrolocks can be used on a 1929.

Explain? There is only one terminal on a 1929 electrolock....not two or three....one. That's how the 1929 electrolock is set up....just one terminal since it was the first year for an electrolock. The one terminal on the electrolock goes to the coil. In 1930, two more terminals were added.

To see how the 1929 electrolock is wired you might want to order a 1929 wiring diagram from the Filling Station since the 1930-32 electrolocks with three terminals are wired differently than the 1929 with one terminal.
