Hi all,

I am looking for a headlight trim ring for my 1926 coach. I ordered one from The Filling Station about one year ago. I was informed by them their supplier no longer makes this part. I did find one new one on e bay and purchased it, I had no luck finding another one. I am hoping someone can help me locate one.

I am the supplier for the trim rims The filling station are selling. Part nr. AF-109

Because the US dollar have a very low value to Norwegian kroner I couldn't made them any more and ship them to the Filling station.

But I still have 3 rims in my garage if you like to have one.

I have also made rims for 1923-25 Chevrolet for The Filling station. Parts # AF-81

It helps to know how the trim rings work for these cars. The 1924 and early 1925 have a push and twist ring. It has 4 studs that engage with springs on the headlight bucket. These rims are hard to come by.

The second type ring starts with the late 1925 and goes through 1928. The ring is actually two piece, a clamp ring on the inside and the decorative ring on the outside. These rims (doors) are held on by tightening the inner clamp ring.

If you find a push and turn rim: BUY IT. They are getting very scarce. Several vendors sell the clamp type.

I don't believe the ones after 24 went to 28. My info tells me they only went to the end of 26, then 27 were different and 28 different again. The 25/26 rims have a narrow steel rim held on to the body by an outside aluminium trim ring. I can send photos if you need them. Derek Page (details on my last post) can supply both

I have the tools and materials to make 23-25 rims. Push and turn rims with 4 studs as RAY describe.

And I have tools and materials to make 25-26 rims with split.What type do you need?

But now the spring has come to Norway,and I do not like to stay inside in a dark garage to make them.But mybe I can make them when the winter is coming

As far I know, this rims go from 23 to early 25. With 4 studs

Thanks for the great pictures of the light rims. I need the late 25-26 split rims and I need 2. Amount and address for check would be nice. I understand about getting out after the long winter. Montana Gets dark and cold also.
