Hello, What is the difference between a FA and a FD?

I noticed the two model listings when looking at new brake

hoses. My car is a FA.

Regards,
Ken

The FA has the enclosed Knee-Action front suspension. The FD has a straight axle and leaf springs. The FD was very rare.
