I am trying to get the front drums off of the wheels? I am having some trouble getting them apart. Any ideas?

Thanks, I want to get some paint on them before my tires come!

I disamtled my wheels to paint them. What I remember is that you remove the wheel from the car, then undo the dome nuts then lever off the hub (round plate) from the studs then the drum will fall away from the wheel.
The drum will not come off while the hub (round plate) is still in place. I seem to remember that sometimes the brake drum fell away after I removed the hub but with at least one I had to put nuts back on to the studs and tap at them to get the drum to clear.

Thanks Terry, I tried to get the hub (round plate) off but it was stuck and I didn't want to bend it up and damage it if it didn't come off. I will try again. Thanks!

I seem to remember that the hub tended to rust to the wheel somewhat. It never just lifted off. I had to go around it with a knife blade and hammer and split down through whatever was stuck in there. Added a bit of WD40 on the way to help. Just take the time.
