Ray,
I see that you placed the link over here, much better I feel it would get lost in the newer forum. Many of these cars ended up junked for this problem and I am sure many more will be junked or sold real cheap. This job was light as far as lifting but many, many, parts, it took all day but I could do the next in an hour or two. I made my own puller for the locating pins from a plumbing reducer fitting left over from my 62 vacume trunk opener and a stainless steel 8/32 screw and a nut. It was easy because it was in a truck with plenty of room, so I did not have to remove the column. I would recommend to all printing this out to keep in the shop, because one day it will be needed.
