I have a string going in the electrical area but need all the exposure I can get.
Had the wrong bulbs in the stop and tail lamps sockets. Was moving things around and then the passengers side stop and tail lamps BOTH came on when I put the lights on.
Now I have nothing. No lights, no horn, and of course no ignition.
Can somebody help by giving me some thoughts On where to start and what to look for.
I disconencted the 2 wires from the passenger side tail lamp assembly thinking I might have a short in that assembly but that didn't help.

John,
Do you have power to the ammeter? Headlight switch? Ignition switch?
I would suspect a bad ground between the body and frame/engine/battery.

Guys,
I stand corrected. I do have igntnion. Just started the car. Pulled the fuse from the light switch and it is blown. What amp fuse should I be using in the light switch?
Once I get the fuse replaced will still have to address the tail light/stop light issue
