Could someone tell me what is needed to secure the wiper motor to our 33 Master (closed car) to the body? We seemed to have misplaced the fine threaded nut and or escutchon.

Hoppy,
As I recall, there would be a rubber gasket next to the body, then a molded washer/spacer that conforms to the body on the back side and makes a flat platform for the nut on the front. The washer/spacer probably has a small aligning tang on the back side, above or below the hole so that it fits only one way into the "keyhole" in the body. This may not make any sense. I might be able to get a photo or illustration for you if no one else has one.

The parts book lists an inside spacer and an outside spacer, a gasket or seal, shakeproof washer and a nut. The spacers fit the 1933 closed cars only.

Gene is right. I forgot about the inside spacer. I didn't have a parts book handy when I replied. I am surprised that the parts fit ony the '33. I figured the '34 and Standard series '35 would have been the same. I'll see if I can find an illustration.

Mike--Thank you. I am trying to redo a 33 master that was missing almost everything and don`t have the right books to refer to,

Thanks to another chat member who emailed me pics and then sent me the correct spacer for inside and the chrome pull knob. I was able to get the outside spacer(chrome bezel) from the Filling Station. I had one heck of a time finding the outside retainer nut which is 5/16"x 32 pitch. Finally found one from "Tioga Stainless" Anybody that says this chat site isn`t helpful should talk to me. I`m on my 4th restoration and without this site I would probably still be on the first one. My thanks go out to JYD-Gene-Ray-Chipper-Mike and the list goes on.
