The 1937 Chevrolet didn't have any weather striping of a rubber nature on the doors. There is, however, a piece of rubber material that goes across the bottom opening of the door where the floor of the cabs turns down to the panel above the door threashold. The only thing that "seals" the doors was the windlace around the inside of the doors.
The windlace is held on by the trim pieces that go around the doors, one up the latch side and one across the top. At the end of the piece across the top, the windlace switches from the cab to the door and is held on by the door panel down the hinge side of the door.
