For my 29 coupe, people claim when they are behind me, that my rear wheels wobble. I never notice it, and the car runs ok when I let go of the steering wheel and let it coast. What should I check besides loose lug nuts? Thanks,

if the 29 rims are artillary and they wobble, i'd guess the rims are bent. let the wheel/tire on car and run a dial indicator on the edge of the wheel while spinning the wheeel/tire.. it'll tell ya if they are bent and how much out they are.mike

If you have split rims as orginal, my be they are worn betwen the outer rims and inner wheel.

Let the wheel spinn fri from the ground. Loos all 4 lugs. Draw the lug nuts a littel at time and observe how effect it has on the wheel. Slack and tight/ tight and slack . I have also use some shim if the slack and tight method not work satisfactory.
