I am restoring a 1923 Superior Touring car and am looking for someone who can provide original style sill plates. I am assuming that is the correct term. (Filler panels over sill plates between front and rear doors) In an amateur restoration somewhere in the past, someone replaced them with some "bent tin" that was functional but that was about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I beleive you are talking about the running board splash aprons. The filling station has them repro.

Thanks but I already have those. I am talking about the approx 21 inch long sheet metal piece that goes over the wooden sill plates between the doors.

If you don't find any, I will say it is amazing what can be made with a rubber hammer, ball pein, and body hammers and a block of firewood. You can shape the end of a chunk of wood with a chainsaw, belt sander etc, to what ever angle or style you need and start working a peice of sheet metal on it. Oak or simillar hard wood works best. (Just a little secret and don't tell anyone, but that is how they used to make "stills". so I hear...ehhhem.)

When you say "Door Sill Plates" I assume you are referring to the decorative covers (plates)for the door opening body sills and not the door sills themselves? You may need to provide them with a pattern if them haven't made your specific sill plates in the past. Their prices are competitive with the prices listed in the Filling Station Catalog for like items. Only problem I'm aware of is they tend to be a bit slow on delivery. First set I ordered was directly after they had been in Hershey drumming up business and it took six months to receive the plates. Second set took three months for delivery.
