I just rebuilt the fuel pump on my '31 & noticed that gas is sort of seeping out around the the edges of the new diaphram. I've re-tightened the screws but it still seems to happen. I've tried adding gasket sealer on both sides of the diaphram which has helped some what. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

Thanks

Did you put the paper gaskets on each side of diaphram?

Check your top cover and you will probably find that it is warped. :( :( :(

I agree with JYD, I have rebuilt several of them and have never had that problem and I have never used sealer or any gaskets on the diaphram.
