Hi, I have a hole, (it looks factory) in the left side of the body in front of the door that I don't know what is for? It has a star type washer that is pressed in on the inside. My car has a rear spare tire on the back, so I don't think its for a spare. I also have holes on the left front piller post that I think is for a mirror. I would like to know what the mirror looked like so I can find one. I have pictures of the holes, but can't post them here. If some one was willing to help me out, just email me at justnuts40@hotmail.com and I'll send you the pictures. I also need a set of rear fenders for my 31 coupe. Will consider any condition. Hope to hear from some one. Thanks, Tony Edwards

No mirror was mounted on the left door pillar. The only mirrors available were the inside rear view mirror and the Trico sidemount mirrors for the sidemount when used. The door pillar mounted mirrors were an aftermarket item. Without photos it is hard to tell what the hole was used for, so we will need more specific information. What is the diameter of the hole? Where exactly is the hole located on the left side of the cowl? Dimensions of its location would help. :)

Tony, Is the hole down low on the cowl? Is there one on both sides? On my 31 coupe those are bolt holes that go into the wood sill. Like Skip says, a picture and a measurement would help.
