I'm looking for the proper dwell angle for a 1940 216 engine.
I did a search and didn't get any result.

The spec's are 31-37 degrees, with point gap of .22

Just a few more specs for your information.Dwell angles are as per the last reply to your post,the advance specs for your distributor Delco-Remy Model 1110052 are as follows:

Start Advance Maximum Advance

2.5 degrees @ 700 rpm 36 degrees @ 3,200 rpm
