Does anyone know how to tell WHEN a car was built? Does the Cowl Tag or VIN number offer a clue? Bobalouie

If the cowl tag is the same as the rest of them, it will have 01-12 & a-e. O1-12 is the month & a-e is 1-5 weeks of the months. In some cases there may only be a day or so in the first or last of the month that was considered a week.....Joe
