Sure! The Filling Station. Ya need to get one of their catalogs. They have a lot of really cool stuff listed there, and the mast jacket bushing is one of them. yipp laugh laugh laugh

Yep! It will work! I have a new old stock 1931-40 mast jacket bushing in my 1930 coupe and it works like a dream! The 1930 and 1931-40 bushings are actually interchangeable. yipp laugh laugh laugh

Ok,That takes care of that, now I just did my 32 a couple of years ago, and it was a piece of cake. This 30 seems to have a ridge stopping it from coming out. Need some direction Please :o :o

The new replacement bushing is made much differently from the one avialable several years ago. It is tougher and has a non-conductive nylon bushing grade center.

I use a rake handle or broom stick to pound out the old bushing. Tapping one end of the stick on the floor while holding the steering column tube should get it done. Then use long socket just smaller that inside of tube to push in the new bearing. Be sure to measure the depth of the old bushing prior to moving it. The install the new one to the same depth. There is a stop on the column tube but it is not too difficult to push the bushing past the stop.
