Here is a barn fresh '32 for you guys in the NE:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...1&item=4548388053&category=39405

Looks like the owner is proud of it with that starting price...

Also looks like he pulled an old sellers' trick of wetting the car down for pics.

Hey Gator. Thanks for that listing. I just spent an hour looking at all the cars.

just my thoughts - gator mentioned "wetting down car for pics" but I may be wrong but I have seen that type of water patern before = condensation - the result of a cold drafty shed with a cement floor a few days after the snow melts and the temperature rises above 0 degrees ( that would be above 32 degrees for you southern no snow getting states)

You are right I have no experience with condensation like that; I glad I don't, if you guys have to put up with condensation like that I wonder how you ever save a car from rusting down to nothing. Add the salty roads and getting snowed or iced in and limited to fewer months to drive an old car...my hat is off to you, if is a whole lot harder to be a car nut in conditions like that...

RGwiz maybe he is not that far from you and you will get to visit his 'yard' one day...sure would be fun...I could spend the whole day there real easy.

Yeah, I'm going to check it on MapQuest. I agree with the condensation issue. Man, the thought of getting all those rusty bolts off is scarry.
Price is way too high, should sell for just under 1K. Most of it is parts with lots of rust from those conditions.

Lots of 'stuff' there. Maybe fun to look. But suggest you keep your hands and your wallet in your pocket, unless you have a lot of wallet and a lot of time. 'Project' doesn't quite tell it all on what I saw.

Yes I agree it is more like just looking at a ship wreak on the bottom of the ocean...
