Over the past few years I have bought from quite a few vendors for parts for my trucks. There have been some really great experiences and, believe it or not, not a single episode of trouble from any one of them. Some are better than others, but all my experiences have been positive.

However, Chevy Duty stands taller than the rest. All aspects of this company is Grade A! From the informative techs who really know what they are talking about to the customer service desk that gets me straightened out when the wrong part shows up and even to the "on hold" music (all car related and some pretty obscure stuff).

A while ago I sent a note of thanks for the great service to the owner who responded in about 12 hours with a really nice note. He didn't fall all over himself thanksing me for the note. It was that he expected his people to be that good. The bar has been set and they will achieve the results every day. He simply thanked me for my time and hoped my future dealings would be as pleasant as they have been in the past. A class act all the way.

Just thought I'd drop a note here and spread the good word.

Chevy Duty for truck parts is highly recommended by me.

Remember Chevy Duty out of Kansas City? Many of you may already know this, but corporate giant - Chevrolet sued Chevy Duty for using that name, and they are now doing business as Classic Parts of America at ClassicParts.com. You'll recognize their website style immediately. Anyway I've used them on my last two trucks ('58 Apache, '49 3600), and they have earned several thousand dollars from me over the years, and my complete respect. Out of more than 100 bits and pieces I ordered, the only return was due to me ordering the wrong thing. They are top notch with great and fast support, excellent quality, and I highly recommend them.

Well Lee, that be the same vendor that Jim was addressing. And I to would have to agree with you both. Order it at 05:00 monday morning and theres a good chance you might get it the next day or the day after, never had to wait a week like I do with a lot of the other vendors. Oh yes, and they gave me free base ball hat at the Good Guys R&C show in Joliet, IL last year when the temperature was 110° on the blacktop and the sun was blinding me. The other all wanted twenty bucks for a hat that day...Good guys. I'd like to see them expand into some more engine and driveline parts though.
