The wireing diagram is very hard to follow in my shop manual. Where does the horn pick up it's feed? I have no power at the horn. NOTE I did install a 28 horn on the car and all has worked well for the last year. I did run into some wet weather on Saturday and it stopped working. John Mahoney

Hello John, It is a straight shot from the light switch to the horn. You say you encountered some wetness. Maybe you have a bare wire somewhere and the wetness caused a short blowing the fuse on your light switch. A check if your lights work will rule that possibility out. The only other thing would be an open in the wire going from the switch to the horn. This of course assumes an original wiring configuration. Frank

Thanks, fuse was blown, mmmmmmmm........ I will attribute it to the water leak which is the next problem (on going). If I can not solve it I will sell this car! There are two things I hate, a car that leaks and one that overheats. This water problem is really starting to get on my nerves. It is not like I leave it outside, but when I go somewhere it will stay out for a few days and rain in the NE is a problem. The interior is pretty crappy but I can not put in a nice one with this problem John

Yes that would have been easy to do considering I have a few Union Electricians in the house, but I can't afford to pay myself on a holiday or my son's LOL John

So ,John, tell me ,"How many union electricians does it take to change a fuse ?" No need to answer as this ? as it comes from a retired union elevator constructor.
