I am interested in putting a "stock" appearance radio in my 1949 3600 PU. I can only imagine that an original would be worth half the value of the truck LOL. I've seen Reproductions in 12v and would like to know if there are converters/boosters to make one work in my orig. 6v system. Thanks

.

Original radios are available for your truck. You can also purchase a replacement radio that is all transistors and has AM/FM ect. If you are thinking of purchasing one of those, I strongly urge you to talk to at least one owner and two if possible.

For information on the stock radio, send me a PM.

Hi I am also looking for a radio for a 51 chevy truck. I am a member of old gmc trucks website and they recomended this site. The thing is I have a very decent c47 car radio. I am interested in trading it towards one for my truck. Do you have any suggestions?
