I noticed on my frame some of the rivets are loose. Can they just be heated with a torch and the hit with a hammer to tighten them? Or is there a better way?

You can heat them and it them and they will seem tighter but this is not proper. A "hot rivet" is a one time only. You take the hot rivet place it in the hole and upset it with a proper die for the particular use and one quick sharp blow with the hammer. When the rivet cools everything is tightened properly.
The hardest thing to find is the proper diameter and length for the rivet. The next hardest is to find the rivet itself. Putting them in is a piece of cake.

Thanks for the information on the rivets. I thought it was to simple to heat and hit with a hammer.
