Help, I was all set to install my rear window in my 50 , new rubber, with stainless trim, soaped it,put the rope in,set it in place slid the bottom reveal molding in under the belt line molding, pulled the rubber over the lip on bottom, worked my way up the sides and that was as far as I could go,I could not get the window to go in, there was probably 1/4 inch to go. Is there a difference in sizes for this model, I didn't take the window out. It came with the car when I bought it. It fits in the hole without the rubber seal, but will not fit in the space with rubber and reveal. Anybody had a similar problem.?

Hey Air Force!

The Fleetline and the Coupe models used a different rear window glass than the sedan models. However, if you have the correct glass it should fit.

wink :)

If it comes that close to fitting it is the correct glass. Be careful, if you chip the edge the entire glass will shatter in to a million pieces.
I have heard of this problem before. They are a tight fit.
