I screwed up. I had to replace my flywheel. Done deal. I never thought to be aware of the timing marks and never addressed it. The new one is on, and the bolts are snug. But I can remove it easily if someone knows how to properly install it to properly address the timing marks.

Am I correct that the 1 inch bolts that are there don't use a lock washer on the flywheel side? I was planning on using some locktite to assure that I don't loose any of these nuts. Any Suggestions for this?

Thanks in Advance.

Don

What are the markings on your flywheel? If there is a TDC run piston #1 up to The highest position and set the TDC mark in the window, The bolt holes should be lined up. Not rocket science here since the bolt holes to bolts will determine the position. Close will count.
