Hey Guys,

Take a look at this one.

JYD, it's in your neck of the woods, and about your era. Remember then!

the 37 LaSalle Trannys were the hot lick in the early 60's and i still have two of them somewhere in the barn. my first Chevy (which i still have), a 49 deluxe club coupe, lost its 216 one nite when a rod came undone while street racing.. i installed a 235 shortly thereafter and ran it a couple months till a 331 Caddy engine got stuffed , along with a 37 LaSalle tranny, into the 49. Caddy later gave way to a 394 ci Olds. the LaSalle could handle the Caddy but the olds was too torquey for the LaSalle. The old 49 currently is powered by a 454 BBC with trubo 400. I redid the 49 in the early 80's and duaghter #2 drove it all thru her high school years. when her son turns 16 in a couple years, i'll get the old 49 out of the barn and re-do it for him. mike

The car is a Chevy 1932, and a Hot Rod in every aspect. Here is what the eBay seller says about the car:

3" drop front axle with 1938 chevy spindles.1954 olds engine 303 ci with modifcation.1937 cad lasalle gear box and rear end. this car is one of a kind!!!! The car has been sitting in a garage and will need a little T.L.C. Runs and drives great !!! This car has not been modified or changed since it was restored in 1960, except the carpet has been replaced.

Some real understatements here, folks!
