can anyone tell me what the numbers on my 33 chevy vin tag mean? job number 33-578, body number s 1960, trim number 25, paint number 32 or 132 (hard to make out) thanks.

33578 = 1933 Master Sport Coupe

S 1960 = Car built in the St. Louis, Missouri factory and it was the 1,960th Master Sport Coupe built in that factory in 1933.

Paint Number 132 = Black with either St. Germain Red or Black wire wheels. Gold Bronze pinstriping.

The above information appears on your Fisher Body Cowl Plate, not the "VIN" tag. The car serial number plate ("VIN" tag) is nailed to the passenger side wood main sill, facing the door, and in front of the seat.
