I got my motor back together and we are ready to roll. Is silver and burgundy a weird combo for paint on a 32?

You could post the paint code from the tag on the firewall & we could let you know what color it was when it left the factory....Joe

That was not a color combination for 1932. What is the paint number on the Fisher Body cowl plate?  :) :grin:

The original body was Black upper and Serge Blue lower with Cream Medium and St. Germain Red stripes. Serge Blue is a very dark blue that looks black in dim light or blue in sunlight.

I have the original color chip for Dupont (Duco) 246-6868 SERGE BLUE and it definetely looks BLACK.

I formerly owned two Chevrolets on a '31 Coach and other '32 Coach that were Serge Blue. It is really a neat color if you like dark blue. Almost like a chameleon the way it changes color based on intensity of light.
