OP hrndog19688 Backyard Mechanic Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 204 St Paul MN	Where would a guy go to have trim pieces dyed the correct color. Someone told me that the plastic(vinyl) interior trim came in black then was dyed the correct color. Where would i go to have this done. An uhpolstery shop? These ain't for old guys any more.

woody Backyard Mechanic Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 326 franklin pa	A few years ago Dupont sold vinyl dye by the pint.My local jobber matched the interior color code from my 80 monte carlo and mixed a perfect match for my dash cover.it sprays like lacquer paint,and lasts like OE parts. woody
