I believe the General Jumbo tires were an accesory in the early 30's. Sort of a super-balloon tire. These eBay wheels might actually be a nifty purchase. The tires shown on them in the photos look very modern. Doubtful you could get original-looking tires.

Yep, General Jumbo wheels are scarce and they would fit a 1932 Chevy. Got a picture of a '32 with the General Jumbos. :cool2: laugh laugh laugh

Tom is correct.The "Jumbos" were most often seen on 1932-33 cars.Would be a good way to mount a set of modern fat radials on an early Chevrolet.

I saw a 33 Chevy on a Glidden Tour several years ago with a set of General Jumbo wheels with General White Letter radial tires. It looked great. I can remember my Dad talking about a friend oh his had a set on a Model A back in the early 30s. He used to show off by running over the curb to park his car. Just rolled right over the curb.
