This may be a stupid question, but is there such a thing as dual rear wheel rims for six-lug hubs?

If not, what's my best way of creating a duallie out of my '49 half ton? I've got a '54 dump truck with duals on it sitting in the weeds on the farm. Is it possible to pull that rear end out and do a straight swap? Or just put those hubs on the current rear?

I've HEARD that Toyota rims will bolt up to Chevy hubs (but not the other way around), if so, how about a pair of their camper duallie rims?

Heck, how about taking the eight-lug rims, welding up the holes and drilling out a six-lug set of openings?

Just completely brainstorming here in the office away from the parts ....

Someone at the Stovebolt.com website might be a good info source for this modification. Click on the Bigbolt button. Goodluck.

You are right that Toyota Land cruiser 6 lug single wheels will bolt onto Chev hubs but the Chev hub is smaller in the centre hole and wont fit Toyota. All of the Toyota duals I know of wont fit Chev.
