For 1932 I have two versions of the Master Parts Price List (MPPL):

the relatively easy to find February 1, 1932 edition and
the relatively difficult to find August 1, 1932 edition

Both have been very good resources when it comes to restoring my car.

Is there a later edition (1933, 34, 35...) of the MPPL that I should be looking for that will also provide me valuable information such as parts that will fit a '32 but don't share the same part number as listed in the '32 editions?

Is your car Canadian? I have a chassis parts book for Canadian Chevrolet dated 1934. I could look up some items for you if you need.
The problem I found was Canada did things different than the U.S. for example, In the U.S., you could purchase a hood half. In Canada, you had to purchase a hood assy. Gauges in the U.S. could be purchase seperatly where Canada you had to purchase as that part of the cluster, etc...at least in 1934
Send me an e-mail if I can help........Joe

I generally recommend a MPPL (parts book) for the year of production and then another 5-10 years later. In your case both 1932 (Feb edition) and 1942 (1942 publish date) are available as reprints. Originals for the years in between are typically difficult to find. The book that I use more often is a 1945 edition of the '29-42 MPPL. It is well illustrated and contains many of the early parts that were discontinued and then made available during WWII. I have original MPPL that are for sale. Look in the April G&D for an ad in Misc. For Sale section.

Chipper,

I received my April G&D some time in May and considering my filing system it could be October before I locate the edition in question to review the Misc. section.

Email me at michelparadis@rogers.com and we will hash out the details about which edition of the MPPL will be best suited for the task.
