I have a heater like the one now for sale on Ebay, item #300237063476. It says this is a 1938 truck heater. I know it's not the car heater, but is this from a truck? I was thinking of using it in my '38 two-door? Thanks.

The ebay heater is a 1941 heater.
The 1938 and 1939 heaters looked the same the only difference was the color of the door knobs.....and the doors were verticle and the truck and car used the same heaters. If you send me your email adress I could send you pictures.

There's a fellow by the name of Roger Kaster that restores old Chevy heaters & defrosters. He does a good job. The last I know of his e-mail was bkaster0405@rogers.com I don't know if it's still good or not. I got my heater, defroster, defroster ducts & switch from him.
