I recently purchased and installed a 1940 reproduction gas tank (steel) from chev's of the 40's for a 1940 Special Deluxe 2 Door Town Sedan. It appears that the capacity is 12 gallons instead of 16 as the shop manual calls for. Wondering if anyone has had a similiar experience. Thanks
