I`m doing a frame off on my 36 1/2 ton.can any body give me drum to drum width of the stock rear end.right now it has a 1957 car rear end.thanks Dennis PS could use a photo of the stock floor pan with wood removed.it gos on and on the work to restore and old chevy truck but will be well worth the time :)

Center line of wheel/tire to wheel/tire is 56 & 3/16 inches.


34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

Thanks.can you tell me the back spacing on stock wheels.that way i can get the drum to drum.with out wheels.Dennis

I don't have the 36 artillery wheel offset but the best I can do is give you the backing plate to backing measurement is approximately 49"

can any one tell me of a good source for a stock firewall for a 36 truck.mine looks like swiss cheese and the bottom has been cut all to he?>:( any help would be appreciated Dennis
