Help! Need some feedback from all you guru's...

Can a complete third member be interchanged between a 1/2 ton
truck and a passenger car of the same year. Or, is the ring and pinion at least interchangeable, if not the complete third member?

I know it sounds dumb, but need to make a purchase of a third member and need to know the answer.

Thanks everyone in advance.

Best of my knowledge--no interchange between car and truck.

55-64 passenger car will fit 55-57 cars.
