I have the rods & " T " handles but not quite sure as to how to mount them. There's a hole in the bottom of the fender for the upright "rod" does the rod simply bolt thru this or is there some kind of other "hardware" that goes on the end of it from the underside ? The other rod, that goes to the side of the cowle, does this just go into the mounting gromet? The guy that I got the car from had holes drilled thru the cowle and I'm thinking this is can't be correct? I do have the new rubber side mounting gromets and am wondering if these are going to do the job ?
Thanks in advance
Denny

The side brace rod goes into the side of the cowl and there is a support bracket on the inside of the cowl that the brace rod attaches to. The support bracket is bolted directly to the face of the cowl. The rubber grommet should have a metal inner core and the grommet is bolted to the side of the cowl. The rubber grommet is there mainly for looks and to seal the hole on the side of the cowl that the brace rod goes through.

wink :)
