Need help locating where to drill the hole for the antenna on a 55 2nd series 3100 pickup. I purchased an original type antenna but the instructions don't say where on the fender to drill the hole. Any help is appreciated.

What you really need is the template. I have the instructions in the 1957 accessory installation manual and the template is the only thing that will give the exact location to drill the 13/16" hole.

Thanks, Chev Nut, I have a template which came with the antenna I purchased, but I can't figure out where to place in on the edge of the cowl.

Send me your email address and I send the instructions.
By the way it mounts on the fender and not the cowl.
