For several days (actually several months) I have been poking around various sites and among several tech advisors about the correct tools for my 1930 Chevy truck and my 1932 Chevy coupe. That led me to look some more and this time I started with an ebay search for Chev* Tool* (* is a wild card). That will give you a bunch on hits on partial tool kits and individual tools. But one of the sellers suggested going to http://1940chevrolet.com/to confirm what is correct for a given year. Wow!!!! Pictures of the correct tools for Chevys from 1912 to 1940 and beyond. I think the site may be provided by one of our Tech Advisors, but it should be listed in the G&D. I would like to hear from anyone who disagrees with this site, but in the meantime, this is the best source I have found!!!

The person at 40chev is the technical advisor(one of them) for tools and his name, etc. is listed in the G&D under technical advisors.(for tolls) ....same person.
The correct tools for a 1931 were also listed a few months back in the "Ask The Experts" column in tee G&D.

The website for Chevrolet tools is free....
www.1940chevrolet.com
I also sell a 60 page booklet with full scale drawings of all of the tools from the teens thru 1966 ($9 + $2 shipping ). Many people have purchased a tool booklet and then have used it at swap meets to find their own tools. That is alot of fun if you don't mind geeting your hands a little dirty. I also have some tools for sale. Email me if you have any questions.

I will put up a link to your page so members in Scandinavia easily can get to know what to search for.

What tools (to 1916 and 1931) do you have for sale? :vcca:

I have a few 1929-37 oil cans p/n 344600; all used with replacement reproduction caps. PM me for prices.

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.
