An email was sent to Ken Spangler, who has a wonderful private Chevrolet museum near Roanoke, Virginia, and this is what he said...
THE Chevrolet emblem is for a Chevrolet DEALER TRIP to GREECE in 1972.
Is that correct Ray?

I do not have any information specific for this slogan. It makes sense to assume it was a dealer trip. I have had the plate for some time and was not aware that a medal also existed. I can't even date the slogan. Anyone have personal knowledge about the plate and medal?
